I would like to know if someone has the 1860 Census. I was unable to get a copy at the library here. p. 461 list a Robert Pendergast without his wife and two of his daughters(Lucinda age 16 and Louisa age 14) both girls later married into the Benham family but they and their mother are missing from the 1860 census. I would like to know who they were living with at that time. His wife's name was Lucinda Wetherbee/Lacock/Pendergast. Secondly, on the same census page 461 is a Robert Pendergast Jr. I need to know who was living with him then. I think they both were in Johnson Twp or in Washington Twp. Thanks, Carolyn Erickson

The Ruby's in my family are the children of John Perry Ruby and Sarah Jane Tucker -- they lived near Osgood. The Douglass' in my family lived near Patriot Indiana and in Ripley Co. I don't see a Douglass who married a Ruby; however, if you will tell me which Douglass you believe married Elizabeth Ruby, I might be able to help. Marilyn

I found your family line and if it is mine Elijah would be my gggggrandfather. Mary was born abt 1850 and if the info I found is correct her parents were Harvey Boswell and Hannah Brown. Elijah is Harvey's father. The problem I am having is confirming I have the correct Mary Boswell. She was married to my gggrandfather John F Sayre in 1887. Hawthorn who married Rachel ____. George died either Feb or July 23, 1891. He and Rachel are buried in Bethel Cemetery, Bigger Twp. Jennings Co. Rachel died July 14, 1947. This cemetery is one of several that had to be moved because of the Proving Grounds, it is located south of Butlerville now.

I am so confused by this. James Pickett and Catherine Griffin Had a son Benjamin. Almost all of the info I can find (family tree posting) etc. have him born in 1818 and married to Drusilla French on May 18, 1854. I was at the cemetary where he and Drusilla reside and there stones read Benjamin Pickett B: 3/21/1831 D. 4/16/1862. Drusilla's stone reads B: 9/2/1835 D:3/22/1855. The 1850 census even shows a Benjamin who is 19 yrs old. Am I missing something? Were their 2 Benjamins?
