Surnames: Hutson/Thackery Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/4h.2ADI/1695.1 Message Board Post: Suzy, These are my ex wife's gg and g grandparents. I did research them but don't have my material anymore since our divorce.. Don't know what you have but I can give you some info but no dates. The Hutson cemetery is located on the Hutson homestead and just to the east is the Salem Church which is on part of the old Thackery land. There was a big Thackery reunion held there a number of years ago which I attended. There were people from all over the country in attendance. To the south of Salem Church is Salem Cemetery. This is where Thomas and Ruth Thackery Hutson are buried. Ruth Thackery Hutson's parents are buried here as well. Their names are Joseph and Mary DuBois Thackery. There are also other Hutson and Thackery family members buried here. Allen and Roxey Ballard were married in Montgomery County, Virginia. On a research trip back to Virginia I got a copy of their marriage information. Allen Hutson is buried north of Tipton in Tipton County, Indiana. Can't tell you the name of the cemetery but it is in the middle of a cornfield and was grown up in brambles and weeds so bad you couldn't find the stones. That was some years ago when I visited it. After he moved to Tipton County, Allen remarried. Don't have the name of the wife. The alternate spelling you will find in many families which I will not go into here. Please feel free to contact me at my e-mail address for any other questions you might have. Your questions might jog my memory. Gary Sacre
