She is buried at Farmers Retreat, but they lived on Racoon Creek in Brown Township and their first children are buried in Ellerman Cemetery/Racoon Creek Lutheran Church Cemetery. I'm looking for her birthplace in Saxony. Thanks--Larry

The newspapers are indeed on microfilm. I suggest a request be mailed to RCHS, along with the research fee, an SASE, and a small donation to cover copy costs, to see if mention of these deaths could be found in the family file. Also suggest you join the INRipley-L mail list, since this board is gatewayed to there, and that is where I replied. I pasted my reply from that message to here. Lori

Looking through an index I have access to, I don't see any notice of their death.

Lodisa born 1851 IN & married a Mr. GILBERT & had 2 girls at least-Molly & May but cannot find this family; Peter S born 1855 & married Nancy DAVISON & I am in contact with this family line; *Ida I. born 1860 Ripley Co. IN & she married in 1874 Geo W. SMITH of IN. We know Cynthia was sick at the time of Ida's marriage but NO death date yet for Cynthia. Aaron, husband #2 died 1878 Franklin Co. IN. Ida is my line.....As far as we know Lodisa (not found by that name after 1860 IN census) stayed in IN? & Peter & family went to OK. Ida & family came to NE & lived out their lives.
