As a matter of fact, my aunt and uncle went there. It's up near the Michigan boarder and was well known for quicky marriages.

Salina was still alive at that time and listed as Almora. Good luck. Don

I'm looking for pictures of One room School houses, preferably in Indiana. If anyone has any pictures they don't mind sharing, please send them to me privately at joatmon7@netdirect.net. If I get enough pictures I would like to start a website with some history of these schools. I feel the youngsters of our times are missing out on a valuable lesson. Thanks for your assistance, Barbara L Richardson

Surnames: Richardson, Huntington, Ogden Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/4h.2ADI/1716 Message Board Post: I am researching Hezekiah Allen Richardson and his two wives. With wife #1, Salina Almira Huntington, he had 5 children - Joseph A, Julia E, Iretta M, Cary Bell, & Wilbur F. With wife #2, Sarah A Ogden, he had 6 children - Laura SA, William H, Edward F, Robert E, Birdie, & Mattie. The 1900 census says they were married 26 years, but the IN Marriage book J says they were married in Oct 1871. The census, also says she was the mother of 6, 4 living. In 1880, they had living with them a Franklin O, age 8. I am trying to place which mother is Franklin O's. If I had a death date on Salina Elmira Huntington Richardson, it would help to put these two families into perspective. A birth date for Franklin O might also help. All I know for sure, is that Salina died after 25 Jul 1869 and before 24 Oct 1871 (Hezekiah's remarriage date). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Christine
I'm not certain, but I believe if you contacted the county clerk and asked them who the trustee for that cemetary is, you might get a point of contact for the record keeper. Alan McCullough
