    3. A curious question. Was it MANDATORY that a death record be filed if a baby was born and then died, in around 1885-1889? I can't find this little child any place and then it occurred to me that maybe she wouldn't be recorded at all. I don't know if she was still born or what. thanks for any info anyone can give me. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/4h.2ADI/35.1265.1.1 Message Board Post: I am just beginning to research history of Demarees in Shelby County, KY. My father was Leslie Newton Demaree born June 1921. His father was Robert NMI Demaree, born in Shelby County 13 Sep 1894 but I don't know his father's name. I think he had brothers Arthur and Clarence. Not sure. Is this the same family as the Mercer County Demarees? I am trying to connect them to the Abraham Demaree born in in 1797, because I can go back from there a good way. I know Samuel Demaree's will dated 20 Dec 1810 in Shelby County left his son Cornelius (born 20 Aug 1787) a farm in Mercer County in Harrodsburg. Can you help me with any threads to form a direct link? Thank you.
