Author: sharplongancestors Surnames: Bemis Lipp Classification: cemetery Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.indiana.counties.randolph/3349.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: I did not find him listed in New Lisbon for that year of burial reports that the cemetery board did. Do you have a year for the daughter Laura? I looked in my data base for Union City Cemetery and did not find him there either. These are the only LIPP buried at Union City Cemetery LIPP,CHARLEY H.1880-1936 SA-E.CK. Lot 171 LIPP,LOLA H. (neeFRAZIER)1876 - 7-MAY-1961 SA-E.CK. 171 LIPP,MAUDE E. 14-FEB-1881 - 3-APR-1970 SA-E.CK. 171 LIPP,SEYMOUR H. 1868 -SEP-1910 SA-E.CK. 171 At the museum, there is a listing of people buried at Union City Cemetery with unknown burial location, it's quite the list of over 200 people. I don't have that here at home. There are more cemeteries in the area that might be considered Union City area such as (Peter) Hoover, Conklin, Brick maybe even others. You should do some digging at http://www.ingenweb.org/inrandolph/Cemeteries/index.htm in Jackson and Wayne Township lists for more ideas. He could even be buried on the Ohio side of Union City, and the obit is incorrect. You never know. You can contact the museum as well. There might be other obits for him locally that will give a better clue to his cemetery location. www.randolphcountyindianahistoricalsociety.org I will keep looking through what I have on New Lisbon, but it is patchy mix of records.
