At the 9th ANNUAL GATHERING & CARRY IN DINNER of the Darke County GENEALOGICAL RESEARCHERS and INTERESTED PUBLIC Saturday -- Oct. 4, 2008 -- 10am to 5pm In the assembly room at the Shawnee Prairie Preserve's Nature Center 4267 State Route 502, Greenville, Ohio Bring your genealogy research with you. Laptops are always welcome. A library of Darke County research material will be available to use and a copier will be provided. Please bring your favorite dish for the carry-in dinner at noon. Table service will be provided by the Nature Center. This year's speaker will be Karen Krugman -- her topic will be "Color Your Ancestors Alive." This program will be both informative and fun! There will be books available for purchase from the Darke County Genealogical Society, the Darke County Historical Society, and from local authors.
