    3. Hello Everyone, I am forwarding an email I received off list about strange things happening at Steubenville - Cherry Grove Cemetery or McVey Woods. The person is wanting to know if anyone else has had some issues when visiting the cemetery or the McVey Woods. I told them I would forward the email to the list and see if any of you listers that are local have had any problems too. The last time me and my sons were out there we found a geo cache in the hollowed out tree stump and we did notice a young man dressed as if he were hunting, he walked through the cemetery towards the back and on into the woods. But we didn't see anything spelled out in sticks or hear any sounds, but I have never been back there after dusk either. Not because I am scared of cemeteries but that one in particular sets way back off the road and tends to be full of mosquitos. <G> Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! On several occasions we have found sticks compiled to form deliberate shapes such as arrows and/or words such as "LEAVE" written on the ground near the graveyard. Also, particularly at night, some odd sounds have been heard. A friend of a friend, who used to or currently still does tend to some of the landscaping there claims that despite the area being a public park there is an old local who is trying to scare people away by harassing them by making strange sounds and writing the aforementioned words. I don't know the truth of this myself, but have seen what appeared to be two men in a grass suits (aka, ghillie suits) stalking the area. Either way, I'm not enquiring about "ghosts and goblins" or anything like that, but I am curious to know if you have experienced any similar incidents, or heard any other reports of such things. It has caused my friends and I some concern since last summer when these sorts of things first began to occur, as we have frequented McVey woods since high school and never experienced anything similar up until that time. Any information you could provide would be very helpful indeed. It is a historic site, and the last I knew it was still very open for the public to enjoy, and whoever is out there, I fear, may be trying to ruin that experience for everyone. Thanks...
