I am attaching the photo to this for you. I am also attaching Jame's stone (631), it is very hard to read. There is another stone that looks like it says Ferrell on it (632). I took these in the spring of 2005. I am also attaching a picture of the church from the view of the old cemetery. I think the only ways you are going to get her maiden name on paper would be if the family was mentioned in the 1882 Randolph County History Book, a document from the church like a baptism record or a church history (you can contact the church, they are still a very active church, I will make a call this weekend to get the name and phone number for you of the person to ask), most important would be a marriage record in PA, it might be in a church registar instead of county court depending on if it was before or after the revolution, I don't know what kind of government records would of been kept before then. They are listed in the Tucker Book under this cemetery. Mr. Tucker noted pioneers who were buried in each cemetery if they were over a certain age. I have a copy of this list, James Ferrill Oct. 3, 1854 age 72 yrs. Elizabeth Ferrill March 26, 1857 age 73 yrs. In the cemetery reading that I have (I don't know when it was done) Ferrell: James d. Oct 3, 1854 ae 72y-4-23 Elizabeth his w d. Mar 26, 1857 ae 73y2-8 John C. d July 26, 1865 ae 23y-7-27 James d. Dec 28, 1854 ae 37y-2-8 Noah s.J.&L. d. Apr 11, 1865 ae 24y-1-10 In a Lot Owner's List (Index) for the Old Part Obediah Ferrel owned lot 362, this is in some book somewhere on page 6. I have not seen this book. In a Veteran's list, I find John G. Ferrel for the Civil War and Noah Ferrel for the Civil War. I did not see Civil War Stones for them but I will look through my pictures again. I took a picture of every stone I could find in the old cemetery that day. The list says if there was a stone for the reading or not, and there was then these two stones. I only saw one soldier stone in going through the pictures again. For a Robert Wilson. Now there is another stone in the same area that I took those other 3 Ferrel's I will include it, I can not read it at all. It could be one of the boys, but????? By the way, the old cemetery was established in 1838. The other cemetery was established in 1893 acording to Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
