"Can anyone tell me if the Indiana marriage records in 1842, have any Information other then names and dates? -- Iris" NO there will not be anything else except for who married them. They didn't start collecting other info on applications for marriage about 20-30 years later. To get more info you will need to contact the Randolph County Clerk's office. That office has marriage, divorce, civil matters, early adoptions, wills and probate on file. Hey that might be another avenue for you on your search, locating a will or probate record could give you a closer death date. Randolph County Clerk's Office, Randolph County Court House, 100 S. Main Street, Winchester, IN 47394. You will need to pay $1 per page/copy for items. Andrea
