Welch obit, 1969, Randolph County, IN No citation, found in surname files at Darke County Gene Society, Greenville, OH Union City-Paul A. Welch, 68, R.R. 4, died early Sunday evening at the Randolph County Hospital, Winchester, IN, following a brief illness. He was a retired farmer and former acting postmaster at Winchester. Mr. Welch was a member of the United Methodist Church, Bartonia, IN. Survivors include his widow, Rhoda; three daughters, Mrs. David (Helen) Cunningham, Lansing, MI, Mrs. Dale (Annabeth) St. Myer, Greenville, and Mrs. Al (Joyce) Hurley, Union City; three sons, Lloyd, R.R. 4 Union City, Wilmer, Winchester, and Eldon, R.R.3, Lynn, IN; and five sisters, Miss Ruth Welch, Richmond, IN, Mrs. Edna McMurray, Homeland, CA, Mrs. Bertha Asher, Wayne, NJ, Mrs. Myrtle Lynch, Downey, CA, and Mrs. Opal McGuire, R.R. 4, Winchester. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist Church, Bartonia, with the Rev. Phillip Gerber and the Rev. David Schramm officiating. Burial will follow in Spartansburg, IN Cemetery. Friends may call at the Thomas Funeral Home, Lynn, after 3:30 p.m. today and until 11 a.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to the services at the church on Wednesday.
