I looked at the pictures that I had put on flicker, all I see are the following... IMG_6149 I see two big stones in the background with the surname of Pierce on them, one just has the surname, the rest would be on the other side. It is a dark pink/red granite stone, to it's right there is a gray stone of Pierce, Elwood O. 1855-1922 and Edith E. 1859-1924. I took this picture and the one named IMG_6150 for the soldier stone that is in front of it, I was not researching any of the stones in these two pictures, I just usually take extra pictures in a cemetery when doing a request, focusing on stones that are damaged, soldiers or in danger of being no more in the near future such as slate, sandstone and limestone ones, those are the earliest stones in the county, many are worn, damaged, flaking, and or, laying in the ground. I have learned the hard way, that these stones must be photographed as I come across them, as they are further damaged by mowing, natural demise or vandals. And the only record of that stone may lie in a group of pictures I have taken. In another picture called IMG_6145 I see another Pierce stone, it's in the background again, same reason, it is of Thomas H. 1843-1921 and Emma 1860-1942. For more info on this cemetery, I suggest that you contact the RC History Museum.
