Schleiger and Lucy A. West. I am wondering if you obtained further info on Charles and his wife Lucy. I recently found a cache of letters in my Aunt's basement dating from 1864. One was addressed to my ggg-grandmother, Elizabeth Clark Bailey of CT, from Julia A. West, mother of Lucy and wife to James L. West of Logansport, IN. Her initial greeting in the letter states: "Dear Sister". I don't actually believe they were sisters but do believe they were related in some way and wonder if you may have further info on the West Line. I am from the Bailey's of Maryland. My gg-grandfather was Oliver A. Bailey of CT, son of Elizabeth Clark Bailey, who removed to Maryland after the war. I do know they had relatives in Pennsylvania where Julia A.(maiden name unknown) was born. Thank you for any info you can provide.
