Does anyone have any information regarding professional ball teams playing in Indiana in around 1890-93? . BG DeHart married Maud Wood and listed his profession as "ball player" I would expect it to be baseball but maybe basketball. Ruth Wood

I would venture a guess at baseball. There is a baseball player buried just across the state line in Clemen Cemetery (Long, Darke County), info was on his headstone. I wonder if you could contact the different Hall of Fame museums that are around to find out more about this fellow and be able to narrow it down to what sport he was in, team and years played.
