    2. Thanks to all of you who are responding with info on Ellis N. Gullett. It is very much appreciated. I am planning a trip to Randolph County, especially Winchester and Union City, the week of 4-23-07. Hopefully, to find anyone who knew the family. Also, to find the farm they lived on and also to take pictures of grave markers. Meanwhile, if anyone finds additional info, especially any family still living there, it will be much appreciated. Question, Is the "Union City Cemetery" the same as "The Union Cemetery (Old Turrell)?" Sincerely, Jim

    3. No Jim, it is not the same cemetery. UNION/TURRELL is south of Windsor in StonyCreek Township. Union City Cemetery is in Union City. I will send you a cemetery map off list so it will be easier for you to find his grave. Looking at the 1908 RCI Directory http://www.pceaze.com/genealogy/RandCoIN/1908RCIDir/WayneT_284285x.html he and Cordia and Vender are living in Sec 27 of Wayne Twp., renting 105 acres. This the Section where Bartonia is. I would go into the Bartonia Resturant and ask around there. It use to be the old Bartonia Store. I will call a few friends of mine and see if they remember where this farm would of been. They are in their 90s so iffy on the info right now. They might of went to the Bartonia Methodist Church, the only church in Bartonia. The kids probably went to the Bartonia School, which is a private home now, across from the Bartonai Cemetery. There are school records at the museum for that time period, you can get Ellis' kids info. I have another all county directory at home, I will look them up in it, it's from 1912 I think. See if they moved during that time period. I also have a grads booklet of Wanyne Twp High School, might be a picture or two in it. Which one is your decendant, so that I can ask about someone knowing them in school possibly.
