Hello List, Something that we just did on the Delaware county list was have a surname roll call. Seeing as to how I am a new list mommy, and we have had several new people join the email list. I thought it would be a good idea to do a roll call for Randolph County, just to get to know each other. I will have a roll call every couple of months or so, for the new listers. My surnames for Randolph County are... Adams Clevenger Cox Dolby Dudley Mosier Painter Patterson Reid Rogers Shanks Wine and various spellings. Some of these names I have just started working on, others I have quite a bit of information . If you are researching any of these names and want to share information, send me an email. Happy New Year's Everyone! Gina Richardson INGenWeb Volunteer Coordinator Randolph County IN http://www.rootsweb.com/~inrandol/

Gina, I wonder if our Cox lines cross. My earliest Cox ancestors in Randolph Co. were Benjamin Cox and family in 1817 and his parents John and Patience Cox in 1818. They settled about a mile NE of Winchester. What are some names in your line? I'm particularly interested in descendants of Philip Booher. He appeared in the 1850 census with my great great grandmother Mary Booher who was 4. No relationship was given. Mary's mother Elizabeth married William Curry. I do not know if Elizabeth was a Booher by birth or by marriage. Sally Bird Westland, MI __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
