I do not see any Samuel Davissons listed in the 1880 census in Indiana, but I do see several Samuel Davidsons and Samuel Davisons. Leland Pegg ran a gas station just outside of Portland, IN. He also worked for and was killed while working for the county highway department. Leland bought a house in Deerfeild in 1936 that was still owned by a Pegg as of the 1980s.
