Son of Randle and Ruth Thompson Bowmer, grandson of Ray and Mary Swingley Thompson and Stella Pearl (Lee, Bowmer) Nichols. Stella's 2nd husband was Frank Nichols. Dad worked at Ned's Super Dollar in Parker as a teen, and at some point also lived in Windsor.
