Linda, Could our Mendenhalls be related in some way? I have a Mahala (aka Mary) Mendehall, b. 1806 SC, d. ? I have no parents for her. She married 1) Jacob Mills in 1846 and 2) Charles Redapth in 1856. I just found that I had a Martha Ann Mendenhall born in Ohio in 1825 who married Robinson Abernathy on October 28, 1847. He is son of Sarah Lee and Samuel Abernathy. He was born in 1824 in Noble Indiana. He died on 01/31/1860 in RC. I don't names of children for them if they had any, but am researching the Abernathy family as well as Lees.
