Maureen, This may be information that will help you in finding out something more about the McNees: Calvin McNees, b. 1852, d. 1934, seems to have farmed south of Farmland, in Section 20, and that may have been a farm once owned by the Bowers family and perhaps later by Luther Garrett. Calvin was married (Aug 2, 1872 in Randolph co., IN) to Sarah Garrett (b. 1850, d. 1915), daughter of Luther M. Garrett & Anna Barbara (nee Bowers) (1st Kisling) (2nd Garrett). I do not have children listed for this McNees couple, but I wish I did. Sarah died (drown) in an odd trolley accident on Mills Lake. Her granddaughter drown in the same accident. Anna Barbara (known as Anna) was my 2nd gt. grandmother Kisling. She was first married to Jesse Kisling, b. 1804, d. 1838. Earl Kisling, San Pablo, CA
