    3. Hello List, I have finally gotten some more things added to the website! Austin Cox compiled a list of Burials for the 2003 year, for the Fountain Park Cemetery. I took his list and used the S. S. Index and tried to fill in as many dates as possible. Some of the burials that occurred after Sept. didn't have records available yet. I want to Thank Austin for the list. http://www.rootsweb.com/~inrandol/fountainparkburials.htm This page is linked to the White River township cemetery page and the Fountain Park Cemetery History page. I talked with the sexton from Fountain Park, and he said we could have his records for the website. But they are in books and need to be transcribed. He has no way of copying them. He did say that we could come in and make a list from his books. I will not be able to do this myself, unfortunately I have to work the hours he has the office open. So I am looking for a volunteer that lives close to the cemetery, that would be willing to transcribe a list of burials. <G> I know everyone on the list would really appreciate the records. Venus Fillmore and Marion Vaughn has contributed a Starbuck/Simmons Bible I have the photos of this Bible online. And I will be working on transcribing the records from it and will have a link to them on this page. Some of the surnames mentioned are Starbuck, Simmons, Brown and Alexander. Venus has established a genealogy and history library in the town hall of Valley Head, AL. She is helping Marion work on her family history. Her email is listed on the website if anyone wants to contact her. http://www.rootsweb.com/~inrandol/Randolph_Count/starbucksimmox.html There are a few scanned death records now online. If you have death records to contribute, you can either scan them or transcribe them in an email to me and I will add them to the site. http://www.rootsweb.com/~inrandol/Randolph_Count/deathcertificx.html Billy J. Baker has been transcribing Probate Filings from the Union City Evening Times. Keep checking back for updates. He has put alot of time into this project. And I want to thank him for all his work on this. And all his work on the DCOWeb site. I included that link also. http://www.rootsweb.com/~inrandol/contributedprobatefilings.htm http://www.dcoweb.org/randolph/UCobits/index.html I am working on transcribing records for the Hopewell cemetery. Austin Cox let me have a copy of his records. I am on page 14 of 41.<G> I will have them up on the site as soon as I get them all entered. Austin also has written a paper about the Lincoln High School. It will be added to the Schools page. Thank you Austin for all that you are sharing with us. Donald Peacock is working on getting me a list of all the burials in the Jericho cemetery. I have started working on the index for this cemetery. It is rather large and will take some time. I hope everyone enjoys the updates. And as always if you have anything to add or find any broken links please let me know. If you have any suggestions for things you would like to see added , I would like to hear from you also. Again Thanks to everyone who has contributed to the website!
