Hello List, After seeing all the emails concerning the Union and Windsor cemeteries, I looked up the 2 cemeteries in the Tucker History book. The index listed as Windsor cemetery on the website matches some of the burials that are recorded under Union in the history book. So I would imagine that the list is really for Union cemetery (the old section). Normally I would not change, contributed material, without first contacting the person who contributed the information. But with the cemeteries both being so close together, that could have been the reason they were confused. Neither cemetery has a sign up. The newer side of Union has signs, but the Old Terrel side that is across the street, does not have one. I will try and get it corrected as soon as possible. Thanks for keeping your eyes open and watching! <G> I am also adding the lists of burials from the Tucker's History to the cemeteries. There are several misspellings and date errors, but I transcribed it just as it is in the book. And I will not be changing the errors, I wanted to let everyone know ahead of time, before I start getting emails complaining about my typing skills <G> I have been working on the cemetery pages all weekend, and was hoping to have it uploaded tonight, BUT my hours got switched at work, and I am working a split shift, so it will probably be a few more days. If anyone has any cemetery burial lists or photos of the cemeteries please send them to me so I can add them to the pages. Thank you all for helping with the website, and if you find any other errors, please let me know. It is very hard to try and edit yourself, and I will admit I am a bit of a hill-billy <G> If you all paid close attention to my very first email to the list, you seen the HUGE mistake I made. Usually Shirley catches all my mistakes and lets me know, which I think she kind of enjoys <G> Gina Richardson INGenWeb Volunteer Coordinator Randolph County IN http://www.rootsweb.com/~inrandol/
Only the big, funny ones! Gina, I have a few photos of the Huntsville Cemetery gate and overall view. Is that the sort of pictures you want? Shirley, and the rest of the list, That is exactly what I am wanting. I tried to get out to all the cemeteries and take photos. But didn't get to all of them. Hopefully we will get some nice weather again so I can try to get some more photos. I am also trying to get some more transcripts for the cemeteries. If anyone has some, but don't have the time to type them up, if you can scan them and email them to me, or make copies and send them snail mail I will transcribe and post them. Just contact me off list and I will send you my address.
