Thank you so much Nancy Riley, Billy Baker, and Nancy Hammer! This is by far more information than I had hoped for! Billy, I remember going to the hospital to see my ggrandma, Delphina Britt - she told me "Whatever you do, Shelley, don't ever get old!" I remember the wake in the old front room, the black casket with red satin lining sitting up on saw horses. I was almost 3 years old. We were very close. I had no idea what that date was untill now, or any of the other details in that obituary. Thank you SO much! Thank you Nancy Riley for all that detailed census information! And Nancy Hammer - the Spences in Parker City were my grandparents -Clyde and MATHA (not Martha) Spence. They had moved from Winchester to Brockway, PA, then to Darien Center, NY, then to Parker City. If I can answer any questions for you I will be glad to.
