My Clevenger line is through my Great Grandmother, Gertrude Afareda Clevenger. She married Nathan Tine Adams. Her father was John Riley Clevenger son of Alfred and Mary Smiddy Clevenger. Alfred had a sister Nancy Clevenger who married Edward G Adams on Dec 7, 1865 in Rand. Co. They had 6 children. Edward is also the father of Nathan Tine Adams by his second wife. Mary Painter Shanks. Alfred and Nancy Clevenger's parents were John and Nancy Shockley Clevenger. Have you came across any of these names?
