Still have not found a copy of a marriage record for Temple Calhoun Smith Jr & Martha Ann Scott, it's as if they never existed, therefore their daughter, dads' maternal grandmother never existed, therefore Grandma never was, daddy never was therefore I am not right, right. Catch up with you later. Also unable to find them in 1870 IA census indexes as they were there between 1867 and 1878. Also he is interred in North Platte Lincoln Co NE (Temple) but No obit exists neither does a will or ptobate as there was a fire in the early 1930's that took most of the records there what they have is sketchy at best. So unknown if this is my Temple Smith although they were in Frontier Co NE in 1880. He may have taken ill and died there and his wife then moved after 1890 to WY to live with a daughter in Laramie ALbany Co WY where she died in 1930.
