Butch had a great meat market in Hartford City. He had a farm and grew most of the cattle and hogs which he butchered and sold in his market. I believe he was married twice, the latter time to Florence, who was always known as "Pete." She was younger than Butch, but I believe she is deceased by now. They had a beautiful home at the west edge of Hartford City on State Road 26. And it looks as if they spread out around Randolph and Delaware and had meat markets in the different towns.
