I do have a Hobbick family from the 1870 Indiana Census living in Winchester Randolph County. If this will help anyone the family listed is: Husband and wife: David age 35, Sarah age 29. The children are: Hosia J. age 11, Emma E. age 9, U.S. Grant age 6 and than someone named unknown Retter age 33. I think my Benjamine Franklin might be U.S. Grant age 6 and his name was changed but who knows. Everyone was born in Indiana except the wife Sarah in Ohio and Retter was born in Ohio. I don't know if Retter is male or female and can't read the first name either. Benjamine Franklin Hobbick was married in Mills County Iowa as : Frank Hobbick and married Emma Ryerson in 1886.
