Thank you Shirley for your sound advice & words of encouragement. I am still hopeful of learning more for these familys. Urana {Sallee} Clear Smiddy has been my Achilles heel. Urana, Sallee & Smiddy are so misspelled in most records. When Urana married Dec. 24, 1840 to Isaac Clear in Preble Co. Ohio her surname was transcribed as Anna Talles!! Isaac's grandfather had their name changed from Hell to Clear. Hell in German meaning Clear. Has been a merry -go-round from the start. > Charlene > > -------- Original Message -------- > Subject: Re: [INRANDOL] Re: Randolph Co. for Clear & Smiddy family > Resent-Date: Mon, 1 Sep 2003 19:16:41 -0600 > Resent-From: INRANDOL-L@rootsweb.com > Date: Mon, 1 Sep 2003 20:22:50 -0500 > From: unicorn1945 <unicorn1945@sbcglobal.net> > Reply-To: INRANDOL-L@rootsweb.com > To: INRANDOL-L@rootsweb.com > References: <3F52DA7A.496A96D7@xit.net> > > Mind if I butt in momentarily?
