Instead of sending for a transcript, maybe try for a death certificate. It will cost you $6 for it(might call to verify that it is still $6), but it will be certifide. I don't know but maybe you can also request a photo copy of the death certificate. That is a neat thing in OH, at the State Library you can get the first 50 years or so of Ohio Death Certicates copied from Microfilm for 25 cents. But to get a certified copy from the state or county level is at least $20 a piece. Andrea
