I come from Thomas G. Mullen b. 1828 who came with his parents and was a founding family for Randolph County. He raised 13 children between 2 wives: Susannah Johnson and Elmina Shaw. I have 9 siblings for Thomas but they are not fully researched. Perhaps Rev. John C. Mullen was a nephew? Thomas G. Mullen went to California for the gold rush and came back with his money and built a farm. He lived near Lynn, Randolph, Indiana. Does any of this fit for you?
