I have found school records in the newspaper. As the orphan train went though Darke County. So it had to go though Randolph. Many people would put in the paper when they took a child., also many of these children was adopted, and listed as from the orphan train in their obit or foster parents. I found a lot information in newspaper. you can get them on loan from Indiana Historical Society.Check out their web site . they listed the newspaper.
