    3. I will gladly meet with you once school is out up there and we can explore to our hearts content. It's their job to help you out, it's research period. Next time seek out Claudia Thornburg, the clerk of that office, she does put up with that. Guardianship records should of be indexed in the Civil Court Records that are in that room to the side, top of the shelf. That is if it was offical. One never knows. I recently found a bit for the Bartonia Church History in a file at the museum, I made photo copies of it, can share that easily with e-mail. I haven't gotten much done around Spartanburg yet, but I know there is a file/book at the Winchester Library that I looked through a few years ago. Lynn (Washington Twp.) Library may also have some things, library and museum are open noonish to 5 m-f, has quite a bit of genealogy stuff there as well. Andrea -----Original Message----- I live only about 35 minutes from Winchester, Indiana and if someone could give me some pointers on how to search for records such as these court records, I would be glad to help them find information about their relatives, or I would be glad to volunteer to help some of the hard-working genealogists in Randolph Co. Right now, I'm especially looking for guardianship records for the period between about 1864 and 1880. Does anyone know how I could find these? I have so many ancestors who lived in Randolph Co., Indiana that I could search many different kinds of records! For example, so far I haven't found church or cemetery records online for Greensfork Township or much about the area around Bartonia and Spartansburg, Indiana. If someone could help me to get started, I could transcribe some of this.
