I think I may of spotted the area in question 700w runs from IN 28 and once went through to the east side of Farmland and north of Maxsville. Mapping software and hybrid satalite view show the road still running through it, but if you look at just the satalite image, you can see the road, getting narrow as it gets closer to the river, and no bridge going over it, and the road then continues south.
