Also, I have found a Nathan Hockett in Randolph County, IN, married to a "Meeky". A 16-year-old "Ruth A Franklin" (B: IN) is listed in the household. I have found that Nathan Hockett married Meeky Franklin in 1836 in Randolph County, which would put it two years after Ruth Franklin was born. This could explain the Ruth Hockett in Charles Glover's marriage record. I am also now wondering whether the "F" in Eli's name stands for "Franklin", since, apparently, many Glovers used the mother's maiden name for middle names. Now, I am still searching for Eli and Margaret Glover, and have begun searching for Meeky's original marriage to a Franklin (unless she had two children before she married FIRST at 27, which seems unlikely... Anybody got any clues?
