The 1860 census shows her living with her mother and stepfather William Bradford in Coshocton County, Ohio. (Henry died in 1854.) By this time her last name is changed to Householder, so she must have married some fellow with that name, probably in Guernsey County, Ohio, about 1859. The 1870 census shows her and her 3-year-old daughter, Anna, living in Randolph County with the family of Edward Wright. She married Zimri Reynard in Randolph County on March 10, 1871. Her last name is incorrectly list as Hinshaw in the online marriage index, but the original record at the county clerk's office shows the last name was really Householder. The question remains as to who was the father of her daughter Anna, as Anna was born before she married Zimri. Anna claimed on her marriage license application in Jay County that her father's name was Thomas Reynard. Is it a ! coincidence that her father and stepfather had the same last name, or did Zimri also use the first name of Thomas? To add to the confusion, Zimri was married to Martha J. Gillum before he married Sarah. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
