Looks like the glean websites to make up their database, for other to look through. It says it's in partnership with Allen County Public Library. Good luck, hope someone finds it of use. Andrea
Sorry it was related to a previous email that was related to Mt Zion and also had additional information in it... I replied to the additional information... It worked since I received an email from a person who was interested but had no where to go. So I am sorry for fogging up your airwaves and we will take it out of the MT Zion list from now on. I ask the Randolph County Clerk today about where you find documentation of declared death, and she said that it was in her office, and would be in the civil court records during that time. She said that often the wife would have to wait the 7 years, file the papers and would then have wait another 8-9 months after the declartion to be able to marry again. She said it is not a divorce but is similar to one in paper work and court appearances. Andrea Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Lincoln also had a sister, Sada. A cousin Henry? Kaylor living with them at that time. I have records from 1911 to 2005 for burials at the Fountain Park Cemetery, Winchester, there are lots of Halls buried there but I do not see any of your names buried there. But this cemetery opened in 1880, so you can either contact the cemetery for the older records or the museum which has a copy of the same records. Or if they had family plots in the old cemetery, they could of been there. The museum has the collective records for that cemetery (Heaston or Old Winchester Cemetery) www.randolphcountyindianahistoricalsociety.org the museum has birth and death indexes from 1882 to 1960s, marriages from 1818 to 1900, obit collections, newspapers, all kinds of interesting things that might be of help to your search. Best of luck in your search. Andrea Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
