Hi, I have a huge Wiggins file from way back that a cousin sent to me. I am not sure she has this information. I will pass this along. Thank you for looking. L.B. Hartley I would love to see actual records put on some of these sites. Lots of people live so far away that they can't get to the place and to subscribe to these pay sites is also prohibitive if they give correct information. I just am a stickler on accuracy.

They are the Sexton's for Woodlawn- Maxville cemetery. They also own Cherry Grove Cemetery. Janette has several records for different cemeteries. Their number is 765-468-6292. I called and asked if it was ok to give you her number and she said to give her a call. If she can't help try Monisa Wisener, she runs the Historical Society, and I know they have records for all the cemeteries also. Could someone look to see if there are any wills listed for Malinda H. Manes Briggs or William R. Briggs. Malinda died in 1909. I think William R. Briggs died in 1899-1910. I would like to know how to get adoption records in about 1870s. William R. Briggs adopted Alice M. (not sure of her name unless Manes) and her brother William F. (real father McChristy but could have gone by Manes) in 1870s. They were both born out of wedlock. I am trying to determine if McChristy was also father of Alice M. Briggs Kennedy. I think I might know the attorney who handled that adoption if they really went through the court system or the children just adopted his name when he married their mother Malinda H. Manes. Thank you. L.B. Hartley

Hello List! Can anyone do a look up in the book of Randolph County Index of Testators through 1880??? I have a request for a look-up that I can pass on if anyone has access to this book. Thanks, Gina Richardson INGenWeb Volunteer Coordinator Randolph County IN http://www.rootsweb.com/~inrandol/
Hello List! I am in the process of adding on to the Randolph county, INGenWeb site. I am looking for any volunteers who want to do look ups. I need a current email address and any Items that you will do look ups in. I will be removing people who's emails are not valid that are on the list now. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Bk.2ADE/1481 Message Board Post: I am looking for information on Isaac C. Anderson's death. He was born March 29, 1810 in Warren County, Ohio. On Jan. 24, 1841, he married Mary M. Walser in Montgomery County, Ohio. The family is living in Randolph County during the 1860 census. Children's names are: Samuel, Susanna, W. H., Sarah, Joseph C., Margaret, David S., Mary C., Matilda, and Rebecca E. Mary is listed in the 1870 census in Randolph County, Jackson Twp, Union City with some of her children. I'm assuming that Isaac died betweek 1860 and 1870. Jan 7, 1877, Mary had remarried to John Poorman in Randolph County. If anyone has cemetery records, I would appreciate a lookup to see where he is buried and date of death. If any descendants still in the area, I would appreciate hearing from them.

Looking to find a connection between my ggrandfather William Riley Reed b. Dec. 17, 1856 in Randolph Co. In. His middle name I am hoping is a family name from his mother so I am hoping to find out if his parents were William Reed who married Minerva Riley, Jan. 19 1849 in Orange County, In. I have William Reed and Minerva living in Orange County in 1850. Would like to know if anyone can help me check 1860 Orange or Randolph Counties to see if they are there with William Riley. Also it is a possiability they were in Kansas or Missouri at some point. My William Riley Reed I think married at the age of 21 to unknown, and they had a daughter Gineva D. who was born in Missouri in 1883. But then William Riley married Mary Ellen Hayward in Bates County, Butler Mo. in 1886 and they had eight children all born between Mo. and Kansas, from 1887 till 1908. In Orange county In. in the year 1839 there was also a Rebbeca Reed who married Alonzo F. Riley. Could they be related? Could someone check 1830 census for a brother and sister, william and Rebecca? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Barbara __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! SiteBuilder - Free, easy-to-use web site design software http://sitebuilder.yahoo.com
