    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Yarnell, Gibson, Foster Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Bk.2ADE/1224.3.1 Message Board Post: Lora: I noticed your message Re: Yarnell Births in Indiana and noticed that the first listing was Yarnell, C.B., Sarah A. Clements, F,W, Dec.3, 1887, Martin, COH-1,210,4105 and the next listing Yarnell, Clomer B., Sarah C. Clements, F, W, Oct.22, 1883, Martin, COH-1,72,4105. My question is : Is there a typo error on Sarah's middle initial? As far as I know Clomer B. Yarnell is my g.grandfather and I am not really sure but I was told that Sarah Clements is my ggrandmother. I do not know the correct initial. The children born on the above dates were as follows: Dec. 3, 1887 Nina Isabelle Yarnell and Oct. 22, 1883 was Cora (?MI) Yarnell. They were sisters. I have just begun recently looking into my family history and I am very new at it. If you could help me find my Yarnell family I would be so appreciative...Thank you for any information you might have. Nina V. Foster, grandaughter of Nina I. Yarnell. 1. [INRANDOL] Another year of Union City obituaries added!
    2. Torres, Jane E
    3. Hello All, I'm quite pleased to announce that our friend Billy Baker has added another year to the already huge number of obituaries from the Union City newspaper! This file now covers seven years of obituaries from 1935 to 1941. The content reaches far beyond the Union City community so be sure to check to see if any of your family is in the files. Remember, there are thousands of names in addition to those in the decedent indexes so be sure to use your Find feature on your browser when you are on an obituary page. The obituaries can be searched from the search box on the home page of www.dcoweb.org (then use your Find once on the page) or you can go directly to the Union City Obituaries home page, www.dcoweb.org/randolph/UCobits/ and click through the indexes. Remember, this only indexes the decedents. Once again, a huge Thank You to Billy! Happy Hunting! --Jane

Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/Bk.2ADE/110.2.1.1 Message Board Post: Go to the GHOTES site for the history of the Eastern Shore. IT appears that the Cropper line started in VA/MD with John Cropper 1st and his wife, Gartrude Bowman. I believe they produced three children before John left Accomac/Northampton Co. VA and went to Somerset Co. MD with the widow Rhoda Fasset. He had several children with Rhoda who went by the name Cropper although John stayed legally married to Gartrude. John died in 1668. His descendants settled in Eastern Shore area for several generations. In 1800s, some of his descendants moved to KY. This includes Laben Cropper and wife Jane, several of their grown children with spouses. They settled first around Bourbon Co. and later moved to Lewis Co. KY
