I'm looking for any connection to John S. Martin. He shows up in the 1880 census for Jay County with first wife, Margaret (???) and two sons, Leonidas, 16 and William, 14. Margaret disappears from the picture because he marries my Eliza E. Patterson Sept 4, 1889 in Randolph County. John was a shoemaker in Portland. I don't know if Eliza and John had children or when John or Eliza died. I do know that in later censuses, Eliza's mother, Jane Patterson lives with her daughter on Water St. in Portland and Eliza is listed as a widow. I'd love to connect with anyone in this line. I just want to thank Mary Jo, for the transcripts. I know it takes alot of time and effort to do that sort of thing. And it was really no problem to change the name of the cemetery. That was an easy mix up with the two cemeteries. And I want to thank everyone else who caught the mistake and brought it to my attention. Hello List, After seeing all the emails concerning the Union and Windsor cemeteries, I looked up the 2 cemeteries in the Tucker History book. The index listed as Windsor cemetery on the website matches some of the burials that are recorded under Union in the history book. So I would imagine that the list is really for Union cemetery (the old section).
