Re: Hunts: Are they from Huntsville? Sorry, I don't know much about the Hunt line--yet. I hope to discover more. What I do know is that Mary Ann Hunt, b 04 March 1831-d 10 March 1913, married Johnathan Johnson 20 November 1853. (She died in California.) They were my great grandparents. Her parents were Asa Hunt, Jr. (b. 24 May 1807; no dod) and Lydia Stephens. Asa's parents were Asa Hunt, Sr./Sarah Gifford, daughter of Johnathan Gifford and Eunice Beard. Marian

It pays to gather all the information that you can when dealing with credit card fraud. Also speedy action is one of your best defenses. I did get the travel company to give me the man's name and the name of the hotel. I personally called the hotel and got them involved with both the credit card company and the travel agency. I gave the hotel desk clerk all the information that I had and he got the hotel security force involved. A call was placed to the man's room and he was asked to come down to the desk to clear up a credit card matter. The man said that he would be right down. He still had not reported to the desk in a half hour. Next the Security officers caught the man leaving the hotel with suitcases in hand. He was apprehended and was turned over to the Orlando police who took him down to the station. I will be in touch with the police there in the morning to see what charges will be brought against the man and what assistance will be needed from me. Stay especially alert when you are using a credit card at this time of year. Billy
