    3. Gina, I wonder if our Cox lines cross. My earliest Cox ancestors in Randolph Co. were Benjamin Cox and family in 1817 and his parents John and Patience Cox in 1818. They settled about a mile NE of Winchester. What are some names in your line? I have Joab Holloway, Drumond Smithson, William Smithson dau Mary Jane Smithson who mar to Thornberg, Clevenger's, Mahala Smithson b 1814 dau of Wm also who mar William Rooks b 1817 who was sonof Joseph b 1782, and Elizabeth Jackson b 1789,Rooks, who moved from Randolph Co. in in abt 1838 when he got a big piece of land Grant,in Marion TWP Grundy Co Mo. They had 15 ch and all were in Randolph Co Ind and some stayed as Mary Jane Smithson Thornberg. Some of the other's also did and some went on to Mo with parents. Other Smithson's alos stayed. My Grt Grt gran parents were Mahala and Wm Rooks Snmithson and so I am related to all the Smithson's there and also to some Holloway's as 2 mar Rooks.     3. Hello, I am looking for McGunnegills. A Josephine Moistner married Riley E. McGunnigell on Dec 13, 1884, in Huntsville. They are both buried in Buena Vista Cemetery here in Randolph Co. Josephine died in 1944. I would like to know her date of death and so on... Could we share any data?     2. Referencing Barb Brown's interest in the REED family......the REED in my maternal side of family is Sarah (R.?) Cora REED b. abt. 1858 in OH, to William and Mary HAINES REED. She and my ggrandfather William Harvey BULLOCK were married abt. 1875 and lived in OH near the OH/IN line. My family ended up coming from the Randolph Co. IN area. It's possible that Sarah (Cora) had a brother William which would place the birth more to your William REED, but I have no other info on the family at this time.......wish I had more for you; thus the search goes on! Her and my father both lived in Randolph County in their early years.
