    2. Durocher Lynne
    3. Hello Fellow Listers, In response to queries on surnames I am researching: Nancy, As far as I know the Ramseys in Muncie are not my direct line. My grandfather was the only one of his family to have a male offspring (my father who is an only child). Thanks for your interest. Keever and McNees My Keever line is on my maternal side and I have very little information to date. Mary Luella Keever, born 4 Sep 1861 and died 27 Aug 1948 in Randolph County was my great grandmother. Her father was Luther Keever and I don't have any other information on him. The McNees line is on my paternal side. Susannah McNees was my g-g-g grandmother, born 24 Sep 1822 in Greene County, TN and died 4 Feb 1902 in Randolph County. She married first John Huffman 20 Jan 1842 in Randolph County. After he died, she married Simon Huffman 9 Mar 1854 in Randolph County. If anyone has information on these families I would be most grateful for any assistance. Thank you. Lynne Ramsey Durocher __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! 3. Thanks, Paula. I have long suspected there were more than even two editions. A friend living in Winchester send me the 1990 edition last year, thinking it was the one I referred to in an inquiry. When I received it, I knew immediately it was not the one I had been given quotations from. I will be interested in learning what you find out... Marian

    3. Yes Marion, that is exactly my question. The original 1880 or 1882?, (not sure of the year as I don't have it in front of me). The title is different as well but the author is the same Tucker, E. Title: History Of Randolph County Indiana With Illustrations And Biographical Sketches Of Some Of Its Prominent Men And Pioneers To Which Are Appended Maps Of Its Several Townships I'm going to check with the bookseller which is located in PA today to see if it is still available. It is no longer listed online. Paula On Tuesday, January 20, 2004, at 06:38 PM, Marian Mandelstam wrote: > > > Question: How many editions are there of the Tucker "History of > Randolph > County?" 2. Hee-hee! When we went to Winchester years ago & wanted to meet Monisa, we just went to the town square and asked the first person, "Where is Monisa?" Everyone knows her! Her residential address is Route 3, Box 61, Winchester IN 47394. The genealogy office is at 416 South Meridian St, Winchester IN 47394.

    3. Nancy, I know that in the public letter box here in the Muncie paper, local people were complaining about the obituaries being too long and too much information about the person's hobbies, likes, and personality. Other people wrote in and said they were cold hearted for even complaining about the length of obits. Unfortunately we have to share this world with cold hearted, uncaring, hateful people, who will probably have a very flowery obit about themselves, the same sort that they complained about, and don't deserve.<G> Gina ----- Original Message ----- From: <JuPearl@aol.com> To: <INRANDOL-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, January 20, 2004 12:01 AM Subject: [INRANDOL] Where is Billy Baker????!!!!??? > I want to know who is Billy Baker and where he is!
