HI I am a Mangas relative Eli's brother Casper, his son George A. Mangas. ANyway I have been looking around on ancestry.com for you. I found the 1930 census for Augustus and his wife Lorette or Loretta It shows both Pauline and Irene to be 19 years old (twins: but they were born in 1910 which would have been after Carrie A. Mangas died. Another sister listed is Bernice 12 years old. The boys you mentioned are not listed in this census. Augustus is 66 years old and wife is about 43. If you don't have this census I can transcribe it better for you. Let me know. Lindsey

I am looking for information from census or whatever for a Joseph S. Reed and his wife Basheba who were married in Wabash, Ind.in 1850. They had at least three children b. in IND, one of them being my ggrandfather William R. Reed, b. 1856 in Randolph Co. The other two were James E. Reed b. abt 1851 in Ind. and Sarah E. Reed b. abt 1854 in IND. Then they moved to MO. where Henry C. Reed b. abt 1859, Nancy J. Reed, b. abt 1861. After that it seems he married Sarah Clayton in Douglas Co. Ks in April of 1868 and they had children all born in KS. There is also Stephen Reed living with Sarah and Joseph in 1870 Douglas Co. Ks. Would anyone know if this was Joseph's brother. How many books did the Turner write?? Looks like more than abt a dozen as per the below message. I saw one in a Library abt 30 miles from me some time back. I also found some of my Smithson's Rooks, etc listed in it of descednants. Can't remember the name but belive it to have been a later 1900's one.
