My Father lived on the land as a boy that Mr. Walker purchased in 1830's and I have the land certificate papers for 2 purchases he made one in 1834 and one in 1835. They were found in the attic there in the house. My Dad's sister & husband bought the house & property after her parents died. They must have been given these land certificates. The certificates from the Land Office at Crawfordsville, IN are what I have. They are pretty large.. maybe legal size? If anyone relates to this family, please contact me.
