Hello Folks: Is there a kind soul out there that has access to the 1850 Putnam County census that would do a look up for me? I am looking for all names, ages, relationships that appear in the household of a Daniel Smith that I hope is listed. This Daniel Smith married Mary (Polly) Langwell in 1831. I am guessing that Mary was probably about 17 to 21 at the time of her marriage to Daniel, so in 1850 she would have been about 36 to 45 years old. There were at least two Daniel Smiths in the 1840 Putnam County census, so I have no idea which, if either was the husband of Mary (Polly). It is also possible that this couple was listed in the Owen or Morgan County census for 1850, but I have not been able to look at those records either. I found the death of a Daniel A. Smith, age 1, who died in Putnam County in 1850 in that mortality schedule, but this child was probably too young to belong to my Mary and Daniel. Mary was a member of the Deer Creek Baptist Church in Putnam County in 1830 and she had sisters Elizabeth Dobbs, wife of Joel, and Hannah Baugh, wife of Christopher. Allied families are Walters/Waters, Bowman, Ogle. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Nell
