Hello, friends! I read a statment in a book about the Warford family: Susan [SMITH, daughter of Reuben SMITH & Hanna WARFORD] arrived in Marion Township, Putnam County, Indiana with her parents on October 6, 1822. She was two years old. There her parents found the country comparatively unsettled with white people but well inhabited with the Indians. Does anyone know of the Indians in Putnam Co., IN?
