I am trying to establish, for membership in DAR, that Joseph Thomas Piercy, born April 4, 1831, was the son of George Washington Piercy and Sally Case Moore. George and Sally were married Mar 22, 1821. Their other children were: Jacob born 1822 Abby born 1824 Thursa born 1826 Hannah born abt 1830 Sarah born abt 1833 Amanda born abt 1837. They lived in Putnam County and were buried at the Reed Cemetery there. Any information on this family would be much appreciated.
