Hello, I would like to correspond with descendants of the following Day families who established in Putnam Co. as early as 1855: Ethel Day, d/o T. Jefferson Day and Margaret McMains, b 25 Nov 1885 Laura Day, d/o James Wyley Day and Margaret A. Gose, b c 1866 Clara Day, d/o James Wyley Day and Margaret A. Gose, b c 1872 Thomas Jefferson Day, s/o James Wyley Day and Margaret A. Gose, b c 1876 William Day, s/o Nelson B. Day and Alice Cotton, b Feb 1869 Harry Day, s/o Nelson B. Day and Alice Cotton, b c 1883 Jefferson, Wyley and Nelson Day had several sisters: Louiza, b c 1840; Polly (probably Mary), b c 1842; Nancy, b c 1845; Fanny, b c 1849. Does anyone know what happened to them? There was also another brother: William, b c 1834-1836. What happened to him? I have information to share on this family but I would dearly love to fill in some of the blanks I've indicated above. My lineage: Charles Reuben Day and Frances Muncie, ggrparents; Frank Day and Lillie Ikamire, grparents; and Harold Day and Mary Knauer, parents.
