Hi Sheila: Thomas J. Shuey and 'Minnie' Grider Shuey are the parents of my Uncle Paul Grider Shuey. Here are the children: Paul Grider Shuey, b. April 3, 1896 in Indiana; died March 10, 1977 in Portland, OR. Married Blanche Katherine Mitchell Nov. 15, 1923 in Rochester, WA. Nelle G. Shuey, b. Dec. 12, 1879 in Putnam Co., IN. Never married. Died in Seattle, WA. Mabel Shuey, b. Feb. 28, 1886 in Putnam Co. IN. Never married. Died in Seattle, WA. I'll have to look up the dates of death for Nelle and Mabel. Thomas Jasper was the first Reverend for the University Christian Church here in Seattle. There is a picture of him hanging in the church. His brother, H. O. (Henry Owen) Shuey was a very prominent banker in Seattle and his home is still standing in the University District, just north of downtown Seattle. It was recently bought by a couple who are restoring the home. It is listed on the Historic Homes site. I'll email you with more questions and the dates. Daniel was believed to have also married Eva Garst 15 Sept 1828 in Botetourt Co., VA. Thomas married Mary Grider 4 March 1879 in Putnam Co. We don't have the children of Thomas and Mary. Mary's parents were Zacchues and Amanda (Young) Grider. We also have alot of information on his parents and the family, but not hers. Does this info help in any way?
