George Washington Piercy died in Putnam Cty Jan 29, 1842. His wife had died in 1839. At the time of his death he had minor children (Amanda Lavica abt 5 years, Sarah Evaline about 7 years, Joseph Thomas 10 years, Hannah Elizabeth 9 years, Thursa Ann 16) and Abby Ellen 18 years and son Jacob Allen 20 years. I know his sister (Mrs Joseph B Ross - Hannah Elizabeth), his brother Jacob William Piercy, and his sister (Mrs George Washigton Crose - Abbigail) were all living in Putnam Cty at that time. Where should I search for his will and any guardianship papers for the children? His land patent was issued out of Crawfordsville for section 25 in township 13. Is there anyone willing to check for these papers for me? Thanks for any help you can give me. Connie
